Shops that switched, in their own numbers

“Our Saturday line used to reach the door. Now a sale takes under a minute, and I close the till in nine minutes instead of forty.”

Dana Whitcomb

Owner, Juniper Lane Books, Missoula, Montana

“Counting 2,600 parts used to eat a whole Sunday. Two of us do it in three hours with our phones, and the shop stays open.”

Luis Carrera

Questions shop owners ask before they switch

Something else on your mind? Call (616) 555-0162 from 8 am to 8 pm Eastern, seven days a week, and a person on our support team picks up.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. Plans run month to month or year to year. If you leave, you take every sale, item and customer with you as a CSV file.

What happens when the internet goes down?

The register keeps selling. Card payments are stored on the reader for up to 24 hours and sent the moment the connection comes back. Cash and gift cards work as normal.

What does it cost to take a card?

2.6% + 10¢ in person on Counter, 2.5% on Shop and 2.4% on Group. Online and keyed payments are 2.9% + 30¢. There is no monthly minimum and no PCI fee.

Can I use the hardware I already have?

Most likely. Tillman runs on any iPad from 2019 or later and works with Star and Epson receipt printers and most USB cash drawers. Only the card reader has to be ours.

How long does switching take?

An afternoon for most shops. We import your catalog, customers and gift card balances for free, and check them with you before you sell.

Who picks up when something breaks on a Saturday?

A person on our support team, from 8 am to 8 pm Eastern, seven days a week. The average wait last month was four minutes.

Open your first register this afternoon.

Bring the iPad you already own. We move your items, customers and gift card balances for free, and a person answers when you call.

30 days free on the Shop plan. No card, no contract.
